September 02, 2023 - Donated food items to village volunteers during ethnic clash
On September 2nd, 2023, The Leesana Foundation donated food items to the village volunteers who are helping the communities during the ethnic clash between the Kukis and Meiteis in Manipur. The food donations were provided in the Phubala Village and the Narasena Village.
August 21, 2023 - Cash donation to M Sanathoi
On August 21st, 2023, The Leesana Foundation provided assistance by providing a cash donation to M Sanathoi of Leimakhong Mapal, Imphal East. The eye of M Sanathoi was blinded at Khamenlok gun fight between Meitei and Kuki on 13th June 2023.
June 13, 2023 - Donations to displaced Children of ethnic clash
On 13th June, 2023, a donation in form of trunks, clothes, exercise books, etc., were given to the internally displaced children taking shelter from the ethnic clash between Kuki and Meitei, at Bright Career Academy, Khundrakpam Village, Imphal East.
February 16, 2020 - Visit to Yaibilen Children Home
An observation of Remembrance Day 2020, on the birthday of Soubam Leesana, was held at Yaibilen Children Home, Keibi Sanapat, Imphal East.
As a mark of the observation, the Leesana Foundataion Trust arranged for a special lunch of the inmates of the Home.
Our foundation also distributed much needed exercise books and stationary to the children, to help them in their education and development.
November 12, 2019 - Visit to a family facing adversity in Khongjom Laikol
Leesana Foundataion provided monetary assistance to the struggling family of Thokchom Menjor Singh at Khongjom Laikol on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
Thockchom Menjor Singh is a senior citizen with no means of of earning. He has two children who suffer from medical issues and are also mentally challenged.
The children have no mother as she died in a fire burn. Their home is in desperate need of assistance and we were there to provide a small support.

A function conducted by Leesana Foundation for distribution of financial aid and clothes to aged people of Lairikyengbam Leikai, Imphal East
Cash was given to aged people.
April 20, 2018 - We extended a helping hand to two girl children
The Leesana Foundation extended monetary help of INR 10,000/- to the two children of Sekmai village whose parents both died in motor accidents.

November 11, 2015 - Visit to BB Paul Mental Development Home, Mongsangei
The Leesana Foundation donated food items for the inmates of BB Paul Mental Development Home, Mongsangei.
The simple yet solemn donation function was attended by BB Paul Mental Development Home Parents’ Association President M Ashinikumar, Secretary N Tanuja, All Manipur Mentally Handicapped Persons’ Welfare Oraganisation Secretary Y Ibechaobi, Leesana Foundation President Soubam Anilkumar and Secretary Soubam Niladhaja.
All Manipur Mentally Handicapped Persons’ Welfare Oraganisation Secretary Y Ibechaobi expressed deep gratitude to the Leesana Foundation for the philanthropic deed performed by donating food items to the home.
BB Paul Mental Development Home Parents’ Association President M Ashinikumar said that the passing away of Leesana was a big loss to the society. He also hoped that the foundation would be able to highlight Leesna’s contributions through the initiation of noble works.
BB Paul Mental Development Home Parents’ Association Secretary N Tanjua expressed deep sorrow on recalling the passing away of a noble human being like Leesna on behalf of the home. She wished success to the foundation’s future endeavours.
October 17, 2015 - Visit to Yaibilen Home, Keibi Sanapat
The Leesana Foundation openhandedly donated assortment of food items to the inmates of Yaibilen Home at Keibi Sanapat in Imphal East.
Yaibilen Home management committee chairman Yangoi Piba expressed heartfelt gratitude to Leesana Foundation for extending a helping hand to the inmates of the Home. Piba wished all the success in its future endeavour and activities.
September 14, 2015 - Our Visit to Swadhar Shelter, Keikhu Kabui Village
The Leesana Foundation reached out to the destitute children and women at Swadhar Shelter run by Environment & Economic Management (EEMA) in Keikhu Kabui village in Imphal East.
Various edible items were distributed to the inmates of the Home by Leesana Foundation in fond memory of late Soubam Leesana of Sega Road Konjeng Hajari Leikai in Imphal West.
EEMA Secretary S Radhapyari lauded Leesana Foundation for extending a helping hand by donating edible items to the inmates of the Home. She regretted that the Home often faces inconveniences as fund at times reaches very late and that the Leesana Foundation’s tangible aid came at an opportune hour. Radhapyari also prayed to God so that Leesana’s soul rest in peace in his heavenly abode.
August 16, 2015 - Our Visit to Punya Shelter Home, Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai
Leesna Foundation shared joy with inmates of Punya Shelter Home at Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai in Imphal West where the foundation distributed edible items in fond memory of Leesna, a resident of Sega Road Konjeng Hazari Leikai in Imphal West.
Punya Shelter Home is run by Integrated Women & Children Development Centre. Punya Shelter Home Chief functionary Annie Mangshatabam expressed heartfelt gratitude to Leesna Foundation for supporting the needy by presenting food items. She said the Home has several brilliant students, among them some have become medical students as it sets education as one of its top priorities.
One of the inmates scored 93 marks in CBSE examination this year, Annie Mangshatabam further informed. The Home is currently taking care of a total of 52 children. Annie, however, said funds for the centre are often delayed, citing different reasons by the responsible authority.
July 16, 2015 - Visit to Children Home, Tera Keithel
Leesana Foundation distributed sweets and other edible items to the inmates of Children Home, Tera Keithel on Thursday.
On the occasion, Leesana Foundation president Soubam Anil said the foundation will continue to help inmates of more Children Homes in the State until Leesana”s death anniversary comes.
He also assured that the Leesana Foundation will make efforts to take up programmes that can bring about welfare for the State in future.
Children Home, Tera Keithel is run by Meetei Phurup. Superintendant of the Home, A Naobi Leima lauded the Leesana Foundation for its generous help and sympathies extended to the inmates of the Children Home.
June 16, 2015 - Visit to Poirei Nawakon Home, Achanbigei
The Leesana Foundation distributed food items on Tuesday to the girl inmates of Poirei Nawakon Home, Achanbigei.
This Home is run by Leimakon. The Leimakon President MC Rita said it was gratifying that the Foundation was giving the food items to the children who have nobody for them.
Leimakon had started the Home with the aim of tackling the harassment of women. Expressing her gratitude she said that in future the Home shall extend physical and moral support to all works undertaken by the Foundation.
Vice president of Leimakon KC Sumati said that though the Home was started in 1993 till now the government has not given any significant assistance. In this backdrop the assistance given by the Foundation is worth thanking.
The government has not so far issued the fitness certificate to the Home. During the visit last year the officials of the Social Welfare Department highly appreciated the style of functioning of the Home for girls. However, till date the government has not given any assistance.
