Our Mission

At the Leesna Foundation, we are dedicated to provide support and assistance to the poor and needy, especially to children in orphanages and without homes.

More About Us

Established in June, 2015, our foundation is relatively new, but our work is not. Our foundation was started not to begin the work of our mission, but rather to continue the mission of Soubam Leesana.

We are committed to help those in need, especially children, and we conduct events every month to reach out to them. This is just the start however, and we have plans of starting educational institutions and any institutions of public utility particularly to benefit the underprivileged in our society. We do not discriminate any section of society and are open to help anyone regardless of their religion or caste.

We are a small foundation, but our plans are big. You too can join us and together we can make our dreams of a better society a reality.

Our Aims and Objectives

To establish Institutions that include Old-Age Homes, Educational Centres, Orphanges, Hostels, Public health & Medical Centers, Training Centers, and Religious or Recreational Public Parks.
To render services to the blind, deaf and unemployed girls, women and boys, and to widows and physically, mentally or socially challenged people.
To care for the poor, chronic disease patients and orphans.
To be involved in famine, flood and riots relief programmes, irrespective of caste, creed, color or religion.
To cooperate, promote and render assistance to Organizations and Institutions for a better and mutual comprehension, and to help them in their growth and stability.

Our Inspiration

The inspiration for this Foundation comes from a goodhearted youth named Soubam Leesana. He was an individual that always put the needs of others before his own. Leesana never underestimated the impoverished, nor did he ever discriminate against anyone. The Foundation has been established to continue his legacy primarily in the state of Manipur, but also as far as needed.

The Board Of Trustees

The Board of Trustees at the Leesana Foundation are group of individuals dedicated to continue the legacy left by Soubam Leesana. The Board is comprised of the President, Secretary, Treasurer and the Trustees.
